ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN E-OFFICE DALAM MENINGKATKAN TATA KELOLA ADMINISTRASI DI FMIPA UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG
Abstract
Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam administrasi perkantoran telah menjadi strategi penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, dan kualitas layanan dalam organisasi. Salah satu bentuk penerapan teknologi tersebut adalah penggunaan sistem Electronic Office (E-Office) yang mendukung pengelolaan dokumen secara digital, administrasi persuratan, serta distribusi informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan E-Office dalam meningkatkan tata kelola administrasi surat di Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi yang melibatkan pimpinan fakultas, tenaga kependidikan, dan staf administrasi yang menggunakan sistem E-Office. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan E-Office telah berjalan cukup efektif dalam mendukung tata kelola administrasi surat. Sistem ini mampu mempercepat proses pengelolaan dokumen, mempermudah disposisi secara digital, serta meningkatkan efisiensi penyimpanan dan pencarian arsip surat. Selain itu, penggunaan E-Office juga mengurangi konsumsi kertas dan meminimalkan risiko kehilangan dokumen. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan kemampuan pegawai dalam mengoperasikan sistem, gangguan jaringan internet, serta perlunya pelatihan yang berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, E-Office memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan tata kelola administrasi surat di FMIPA Universitas Negeri Padang.
